If you are trying to locate Motherboard Drivers, you will first need to know what computer Motherboard you have. In order to do this:. Start Download. Drivers are a set of files or instructions which instruct your operating system how to interact with the other important hardware.

Then, you will find the Drivers section, click on that and select the operating system with the architecture. In our case, the system is running in Windows bit. Now, a new page will open and you will find all the list of drivers and device drivers like onboard SATA drivers, system and chipset drivers, VGA graphics and all the other drivers as well. Whatever you need just click on the right side install button to download those drivers in your system. Now, if you have a laptop, then you just have to do the same thing. In our case, we have an HP laptop and we want to install the drivers for our laptop.

To do the same, open any of your browsers and type the laptop manufacturer name and search. You will notice their official website link, click on that. After entering into the link, you have to type the model number or serial number, whatever they want, to recognize your exact device.

If you already have the software installed on your computer, it will detect it so it will not show the software here again.

Once the software is marked, click Express Install. You can also install the software separately if you want, then click on the install option on the right side of each software.

Clicking Express Install will start installing the driver shortly. Now you can see which software is being installed. After installing all the software, the computer will have to restart. You will see an interface; clicking OK will restart the computer.

If you do not have a CD, you will have to download and install the software by searching Google from your motherboard version number. After entering the website, click on Support. A popup with various choices relating to the device will appear. The device manufacturer is Intel, and the driver is functioning correctly, according to the General tab. If there are any known conflicts with the driver, Device Status will show them. To learn more about the driver, go to the Driver tab. The driver was supplied by Microsoft, according to the Driver tab.

If the driver was installed properly, it will most likely show the driver maker in your case. You may now verify that your drivers were installed properly by looking at them in Device Manager.
